Accessible and Affordable Arts
Starcatcher Theater is an upcoming Theatrical company set in Akron, OH. We work with local artist to provide affordable arts education and performances. With our New Works Initiative we partner with local playwrights to showcase new works and host workshops for newer shows. We believe that everyone needs an artistic outlet and we hope to be that for as many people as possible. Playwrights, actors, directors, dancers, poets, all are welcome.

Louder Than Words
Louder Than Words is a musical by local Clevelander, Christian Andrews and Hannah Stephens. The show has undergone many workshops and we are excited to host the first full production of both acts! Get your tickets here!
My Dear Aunt Flow
My Dear Aunt Flow is a play by Arizona based playwright, Kelly Harper. Through personal interviews and research, Kelly combines tableaus of stories revolving around menstruation. This devised piece will be partially restructured around the cast by director, Jasmine Renee. Stay tuned for ticket information!
Poe Is Dead
Poe Is Dead is a new musical with compositions by Jacob Bremkamp and a book by Adam Hoffman. These two Cleveland theater artist have workshopped this show in multiple venues, including theaters such as Near West and at CSU. We are excited to bring the newest rendition to Starcatcher to round out our 2026 season.
Sips & Scripts
Join us the last Friday of the month for a Sips & Scripts event. We will be partnering with The Daily Pressed for a featured cocktail with proceeds going back to the theater! This event will host local talent from the greater Cleveland area. Sign up to perform at our next Sips & Scripts here.
